The work

My day job lives in two worlds. In Egyptian healthcare, I build and run operations technology for Cure Hospital (Nasr City, Cairo) and Alfa Hospital (Hurghada) — clinical-rounds tracking, attendance systems, and the everyday tooling that keeps two hospitals moving.

Since 2026 I’ve also served as Operations Manager & Head of Technology at Global Health Gate FZC (Sharjah, UAE) — a clinician-led medical-travel marketplace connecting patients across the Arab world and East Africa with accredited hospitals in Egypt, the UAE, and Turkey. I own the platform end to end: architecture, the WordPress-based patient platform, CRM and case-tracking pipelines, the WhatsApp coordination layer, and the automation and AI roadmap for the years ahead.

How I work

Self-host first. My production stack runs on my own infrastructure — Ubuntu, Docker, nginx as a reverse proxy, PostgreSQL, and Tailscale for private access — so I understand every layer I deploy.

Automate the repetitive. If a task happens twice, it becomes an n8n workflow, a script, or a bot. Recruitment intake, lead response, follow-ups, monitoring — machines handle the routine; people handle judgment.

Build for the people using it. Hospital staff and patients don’t care about the stack — they care that it works, in their language, on their phone. That’s the standard.
